A sigh of relief for Tobacco Traders in Saudi Arabia

The government of Saudi Arabia has announced a reduction in the tax and duty associated with Tobacco imports into the country. This comes after a tough trading period for businesses in the Tobacco industry as the taxes and duties had risen so high in the last three years. The move is geared towards enabling tobacco traders revive their operations as this sector contributes significantly to the economic development of the country. The tax and duty reduction however comes with increased requirements for tobacco traders by the government. Due to the rising cases of Tobacco-related illnesses, the traders are required to ensure that the age limit is strongly adhered to while also having all tobacco products carry the notice of health risks for the users.

The government also highlighted the need for the importers to be keen on the quality of the tobacco products as this would go a step further into safe-guarding the health of the users in Saudi Arabia. Prime Puff Paper, a tobacco accessories retailer and distributor based in Dammam has been pointed as one of the best tobacco accessories supplier in Saudi Arabia; providing high quality tobacco products for users in the country. Other tobacco traders are urged to be competent and careful in their trading even as the government promises to create a supportive trading environment.
